Looking for more terrain?  More vertical?  More snow?

Mt. Bachelor is big. In fact, measured by skiable terrain with over 4,000 skiable acres, it’s one of the six biggest ski areas in the United States. But Bachelor doesn’t get the crowds that most of the other biggies do. So there’s a spacious feel to skiing and riding you don’t find at most big mountains.

Going up? There are seven high-speed lifts. Going down? There’s 3365′ vertical, and huge snowfall.

Mt. Bachelor has quite a backstory – both in its natural volcanic history, and its history as a ski area.

Mt. Bachelor is a true destination despite the fact that – uniquely among America’s major ski areas – it has no slopeside, lodging, no fancy base villages,

It starts with an amazing mountain that’s surrounded by some of the most spectacular National Forest in the country. Mt. Bachelor skiers enjoy a feeling of wilderness and solitude that just isn’t found anywhere else.

And central Oregon has a fast growing in reputation as one of the nation’s finest places to visit – and live.  Bend, about 19 miles from the ski area, is on just about every list of the coolest towns on the continent. The range of lodging and dining choices is staggering. And hopefully you like beer – or, at least, you like people who like beer – because this region offers the most micro and craft breweries per capita in the States.

Mt. Bachelor provides a unique experience for everyone. Explore the 101 trails and 360 degrees of skiing and riding.

Yes, all that makes Mt. Bachelor a bit different. Come see it for yourself.
